Welcome to YouthLocal! By using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.

1. Definitions

  • YouthLocal: Refers to the platform that connects local teens offering services with parents or guardians seeking those services.

  • Users: Includes all individuals using YouthLocal, whether as Service Providers (teens offering services) or Clients (parents/guardians seeking services).

  • Service Providers: Teens aged 13-18  offering services through YouthLocal.

  • Clients: Adults aged 18 or older who seek services for themselves or their dependents.

2. Eligibility

  • Service Providers: By registering, you confirm that you are within the eligible age range and have permission from your parent or legal guardian to participate.

  • Clients: You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal authority to hire Service Providers for your dependent(s).

3. YouthLocal’s Role

YouthLocal is a listing directory that enables Users to connect. We do not:

  • Verify the identity, background, or qualifications of Users.

  • Mediate disputes between Users.

  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided.

All interactions and agreements are made directly between Service Providers and Clients.

4. User Responsibilities

For Service Providers:

  • Ensure the accuracy of your profile and the services offered.

  • Obtain consent from your parent or guardian before accepting jobs.

  • Conduct yourself professionally and ethically during service provision.

For Clients:

  • Provide accurate and honest descriptions of the services you require.

  • Ensure the safety of all involved parties during service arrangements.

  • Supervise interactions as needed, particularly for services involving children.

5. Payments

  • YouthLocal does not process payments. All payment arrangements are made directly between Service Providers and Clients.

  • YouthLocal is not responsible for disputes related to payments or cancellations.

6. Safety and Conduct

  • Service Providers and Clients agree to communicate respectfully and professionally.

  • Any inappropriate or unlawful behavior should be reported immediately to YouthLocal.

  • Users are responsible for conducting their own background checks and ensuring safe meeting locations.

7. Disclaimers

  • YouthLocal is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our platform or services arranged through it.

  • YouthLocal makes no guarantees about the suitability or availability of any User listed on the platform.

8. Termination

YouthLocal reserves the right to terminate or suspend any User account for violating these Terms and Conditions or engaging in inappropriate conduct.

9. Modifications

YouthLocal may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to Users through the platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
